Multithreading
|

Multithreading means the ability
of an operating system or a software
application to manage both requests
coming from several users at
the same time and several separate
requests coming from a single
user. One request is handled
as one thread, and the status
of the separately identifiable
threads is monitored until the
job has been performed as required
by the request.
