What
is the difference between Listener
and Message Receiver?
|

Listener has a socket to listen
to for accepting new connections,
while Message Receiver does not.
There is no other real difference.
Both Listener and Message Receiver
are "inherited" (conceptually)
from the abstract Receiver object,
which cannot be instantiated
directly.
